Under what circumstances should a centrifugal pump adopt a semi-open impeller ?
When a semi-open impeller centrifugal pump is used to convey liquids containing solid particles, fibers or viscosity, a semi-open impeller should be adopted. Applicable scenarios 1. liquids containing solid particles or fibers : The semi-open impeller has no front cover plate and the flow channel is semi-closed, which not only reduces the risk of clogging but also maintains high efficiency. It is suitable for conveying liquids with a large amount of impurities such as sand and fibers. 2. viscous liquid : Its structure allows for the presence of certain viscous substances in the liquid and is suitable for semi-flowing media such as crude oil and resin. 3. Corrosive or high-temperature liquids : Some semi-open impellers are made of corrosion-resistant materials and can adapt to special working conditions. Features • efficiency : It lies between open impellers (low efficiency) and closed impellers (prone to clogging), and is suitable for working conditions where a balance is required between efficiency and clogging prevention.
Structure : Only the rear cover plate is provided, and the flow channel is semi-open, which is convenient for cleaning and maintenance.
ATACH Pump Industry can simultaneously provide both closed impellers (with higher efficiency) and fully open impellers (with stronger passability) based on actual conditions. |
