Before using the ATACH chemical pump, is it necessary to add lubricating oil or grease to the pump and motor bearings ?
ATACH's pumps and motors are divided into three types of bearings: 1)require lubricating oil 2)require grease 3)do not require any lubricating oil or grease before using the ATACH chemical pump, it is necessary to check and ensure that the bearings of the pump and the drive motor have been filled with appropriate lubricating oil or grease. This is a crucial preparatory step before starting the equipment to ensure smooth operation of the bearings, good heat dissipation and an extended service life of the equipment. The key points of specific operation include Check the oil level : Confirm that the oil level of the lubricating oil or grease is at the appropriate position marked on the bearing oil level (usually between 1/3 and 1/2 of the viewing window), and avoid too much or too little.
Lubrication method : For oil mist or pressure oil lubrication systems, the external lubrication device needs to be started in advance; For grease lubrication, it is necessary to ensure that the grease is sufficient and has not deteriorated. First operation precautions : For new pumps or those put back into use after major overhauls, the lubricating oil should be replaced after about one week of operation to remove foreign substances produced during the running-in period. In addition, other checks need to be completed before starting, such as turning the machine by hand to ensure smooth rotation, closing the outlet valve, and checking the seals, etc. If there are special requirements in the chemical centrifugal pump manual/contract, please refer to the manual/contract. |
