How to determine a pump and why does ATACH require customers to provide these details before quoting?
As a professional industrial pump manufacturer, ATACH Pump Industry needs to have a basic understanding of the detailed usage of the pump after receiving the customer's inquiry; otherwise, it will be impossible to select the appropriate model and quotation. So, what should be known when making a selection? Here, we also sincerely ask for the understanding of our customers, as the service life and usability of the pumps we provide are closely related to the detailed details during the selection stage. It is precisely because ATACH Pump Industry asks customers in sufficient detail before selection that there are very few subsequent maintenance issues. 1. The name of the medium conveyed by the pump, specific gravity, viscosity, temperature, and whether there are particles (if there are particles, the maximum diameter of the particles) 2. What is the required flow rate, head, rotational speed and which type of pump is needed? There are many types of pumps, such as centrifugal pumps, self-priming pumps, pipeline pumps, submersible pumps, semi-submersible pumps, horizontal centrifugal pumps with couplings, pumps directly tightly coupled by motor shafts, vertical pumps, horizontal pumps, and so on. 3. Is a motor needed or not? If a motor is needed, is it a 3-phase -380v-50hz motor? Are there any requirements for the energy efficiency of motors? Is an explosion-proof motor needed? Is a variable-frequency motor needed? 4. Actual quantity required (Please note that if the quantity stated during the inquiry is 200 units but the actual purchase is 1 unit or a relatively small quantity, ATACH Pump Industry may increase the price or refuse to ship.) 5. Is the required price FOB/EXW/CIF/DDP or something else? 6. Which currency should be declared, such as the US dollar, the Chinese yuan, or the euro? 7. Other special requirements? For instance, the material of the pump, mechanical seal or packing seal? Mechanical seals can be selected from single-end face mechanical seals, double-end face mechanical seals, and mechanical seal types with flushing schemes, etc. |
