Why does ATACH Pumping Company insist on asking about the detailed usage conditions of various pumps during the inquiry process, while other pump manufacturers can simply provide quotationsTime:2026-06-05 This is actually a very good question. Some customers, even long-term customers, would ask our salespeople why ATACH likes to ask so many cumbersome questions before selecting the model, making the quotation, and formulating the pump solution. For instance, the medium the pump will convey, its density, viscosity, temperature, maximum particle size, whether the motor needs to be explosion-proof, whether the motor needs to be variable-frequency, and so on. Then they would say that other pump manufacturers simply provide the rated flow and head and send the quotation directly to their email. In fact, both approaches are correct, but the starting points are different. It depends on which perspective the customer is viewing the issue from. Directly quoting the price can immediately address the customer's concern about the price. After ATACH clarifies the situation, they provide the quotation. They need to understand the customer's operating conditions, the material, and whether the seals can be used, or whether the model provided by the customer has a more cost-effective, energy-saving, and superior alternative. Our main goal is not to cooperate with the customer just to close the deal; we aim to ensure that after the customer receives our water pump, it can be used properly and be of good quality. After all, there are many countries that are far away from China. Sometimes the price of a single chemical centrifugal pump is not cheap either. If you buy the wrong one or one that doesn't work or is difficult to use, the ultimate victim is still the consumer. |
